"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages-prepare to witness the strange, the unusual, the improbable and impossible! Brought to you, today, by the fine folks behind Pickled Punks Plush- often whispered but never witnessed- the tale of Isaac Bidwell, the non-starving artist!
This spectacular story began in the frigid countryside of Upstate New York; a vast, icy tundra with a knack for hastily bringing an end to summer, sun and the presence of daylight in excess. In his fevered hunt for an alternative to the chilly gloom, Isaac created an imaginary, illustrated sanctuary of his own, at merely two years of age.
In his crusade for artistic purpose, Isaac, like many legendary, creative creatures before him, stumbled on the path to define what "success" meant to him. Hindered initially by the fear of the unknown, and the risks of aimless pursuit, he decided to dedicate a chapter (or two) in this quest to an institute of higher learning.
Temporarily favoring a more conventional existence, he pursued a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design with the aim of becoming an Adman. His pragmatism was awarded with debt and a diploma, but with an unstable economy came an uncertain future for the Ad business and his sober strategy was suddenly sidetracked.
Aimlessly adrift, he traveled the world, in search of inspiration. That, folks, is where he met his muse- the fluffy, elusive monstrosity known as the Jackalope. A creature who only breeds during lightning storms and who can be enticed into capture by offerings of whiskey, Isaac saw in this "fearsome critter" a kindred spirit.
Isaac displayed the creature and observed onlookers reactions to its presence, from laughter, to incredulity, it seemed to evoke a curious spirit from everyone who encountered it. This galvanized him to create again- and this time, the focus was the impossible, itself.
Raised on a steady diet of comics, cartoons and cryptozoology, Isaac imbued his creepy cute creations with unique life, from paper to plush, his passion paid off and his lifelong crusade to make real the imaginary, became his ideal version of the American Dream.
Much like the mythical Jackalope, the "successful artist" is a rare thing, not often documented in this modern, fiercely competitive world. Isaac Bidwell is a testament to this elusive reality, due to his persistence, his imagination and his creative ability. The Pandacorn, Merpug, and Catus are just a few of the creative cryptids that would not exist, were it not for one man's ability to overcome and achieve, despite the odds stacked against him.
So step right up, ladies and gents, boys and girls- into a world of wonder, a panorama of the strange, the bizarre the....adorable! It's Pickled Punks Plush and it's guaranteed fun for all ages!"
